Home is the road…a poem

HOME

Roads that never end will break your heart,

Fires that never die lives in your heart,

Many crawl on their tears everyday like it was a road leading to home,

They crawl on their scars to carry loads.

Tears will never quench your thirst, tears aren’t water.

Roads that make you cry is a load, walks that chases you back knows the face of home.

You’ve missed the road my friend you’re lost,

You’ve lost your key my friend you’re a stranger.

Many carry their tears on the head to be old, many crawl on their tears to carry loads, they crawl on their scars to char the road.

You’ve missed the road my friend you’re lost,

You’ve lost your patent right you can be exploited.

Many sit on their tears to fall,

Nobody carries loads on their road to home,

Nobody carries the forest on their road to home.

Roads that make you weep is a whip, walks that listens to the road knows the voice of home.

Roads that make you fall are walls, walks that smell trouble knows the body of home

Home doesn’t lead to loads, to burden, to arrest.

Home points to the road,

Home is the road
